In a re-creation of Theodore Roosevelt's north room at his Sagamore Hill retreat in New York, this gallery gives the visitor a glimpse of what it was like to be an affluent gentleman hunter of the type who took part in an African safari in the early 20th century. Learn about the origins of the "Teddy Bear,"; Mr. Roosevelt's connection to the NRA, the United States' involvement in the Spanish-American War, and the famous "Rough Riders."
