NFM's VIRTUAL MUSEUM GALLERIES TOUR
Gallery XII - For the fun of it

For the fun of it A sure crowd-pleaser with a scene depicting a boy's bedroom from the 1950s, complete with Hopalong Cassidy linoleum (salvaged from a New Jersey home), ranch-style wallpaper and bedspread, Davy Crockett coonskin cap, Daisy air rifle, and a booklet on Boy Scout marksmanship merit badges. Across from this bedroom is a restored 1903 Coney Island shooting gallery which "comes to life" as you approach. Learn about American exhibition shooter Ed McGivern, and gas, air, and spring guns.
