Special Agent Frank White led a dangerous life not long ago as coordinator for the Drug Enforcement Administration’s "Operation Snowcap," an operation aimed at clearing Florida cities of drug dealers. White led a taskforce of military and law enforcement officers in stakeouts and raids throughout Florida that closed down part of the Columbian cocaine cartel operating inside American borders.

The handgun that White carried and used throughout his career is now part of the National Firearms Museum collection and is a customized Colt Combat Commander in .45 ACP chambering. White modified his semi-automatic pistol with Millet adjustable sights. But perhaps the most visible modifcation is the pair of scrimshawed ivory grips panels that were a gift to White from Vice President George Bush. White’s retired agent badge from DEA is also part of the NFM’s modern law enforcement gallery.
